MARIA SANCHEZ

Maria is a RIBA Chartered Architect with over 20 years of experience. She founded Urbana Architecture in London in 2021, after qualifying in 2003 following studies in Madrid and Chicago.

With roots in London and Madrid, she brings a culturally rich perspective combined with extensive knowledge of local architecture and construction processes to every project. Her work blends thoughtful design with technical precision, shaped by time spent at several AJ 100 design practices and award-winning executive architect studios.

Her portfolio spans large-scale healthcare buildings, medium commercial and luxury hotel projects, and small-scale, high-detail residential interventions—delivering designs that are both elegant and highly functional.
